Macy's many hats

Macy the mini mommy: The picture above is Macy testing Tyler's bottle temp on her wrist before feeding him. Apparently she doesn't trust Neil to make the bottle the correct temp, can't figure out where she got that mistrust. She loves to correct Tyler, if I'm feeding him and he looks away, she'll put his head back where it belongs and tell him to eat. If his paci falls out she replugs it. If he cries she comes to his rescue. My personal favorite, was when he was crying while she was going potty. I picked him up (how dare I) and I got yelled at to put him down because she was going to rescue him.

Macy the photographer: In an attempt to save our nice camera, I bought Macy her own digital camera, which she absolutely loves. It's taken quite a bit to teach her how to hold it to get pictures other than of her fingers, but now she's quite a pro and gets some pretty good shots. She also loves to pose you in different ways to suit her needs.

Macy the botanist: Macy has been really into flowers this season, so I let her pick some seeds from Target and we got some buckets. She loved planting the seeds and waters them every day. Out of 7 pots, so far 3 have leaves which she is so excited about. We also have a giant Sunflower and a pumpkin vine growing as well that we got from Auntie Robyn. Macy is watering the sunflower in the picture above. I'm hoping that Macy will turn my brown thumb into a green thumb and we can make Auntie Robyn proud of the 15ft sunflower.

Macy the scholar: Macy has started preschool. It's been a couple of rough weeks to start, but she's doing much better now. She loves to bring books for Ms Shelly to read to her and she's keeping Neil and I on our toes with sayings she brings home. Her latest was criss cross apple sauce. After getting frustrated with us not understanding her she used Tyler as a model to show us she wanted us to sit indian style.

Tyler is 4 months

Tyler aka Pickle Man has more than doubled his birth weight and is currently at 12lbs 8ozs and he is 23.5 inches long, I don't think this onsie is going to fit at 12 months. He's such a happy and easy going guy, but he does need to bulk up to protect himself from his overly loving big sister who likes to love him and hug him and squeeze him every second she gets. This past month he learned to roll over and I learned not to do errands while Neil's home alone with Tyler. He just recently found his toes which he is madly in love with and gets furious when he's put in a sleep sack now.
